Rock Hornbeam (Carpinus Turczaninovii)

Native to Korea, China and Japan. Full size leaves are 2″ but reduce nicely as bonsai to create this attractive forest-like setting. New foliage is a deep bronze color which turns to a combination of red, orange and yellow in the fall. Produces hop-like flowers and seed pods when mature. Deciduous. Keep outdoors. 9 tree group - each 9 years old. 26″x17″x17″. Potted in a 19″ oval brown mica container as shown. Suitable 18″x13.5″x1″ humidity tray is recommended.
