Japanese Five Needle Pine (Pinus Parvifolia)

The Japanese White Pine is the most commonly used pine for bonsai in Japan. It is an evergreen with very short stiff needles forming blue/green tufts of foliage at the branch tips, creating an overall fine texture to the trees silhouette. The brownish red cones are one to four inches long. The needles grow in groups of five which is why it is known as “five-needle-pine”. Hardy. Keep outdoors. 50 years old. 23″ tall. Bald Cypress (Taxodium Distichum) – 54″ Tall

The Bald Cypress grows in many areas of Louisiana and Florida particularly in swampy areas. The Bald Cypress has been designated the official tree of the state of Louisiana. The bark is fibrous and has a reddish-brown color with small flat ridges and shallow furrows. The leaves of the Bald Cypress tree are deciduous and spread in flat planes in a feathery pattern on its branchlets. Good for indoors. Ours is grown from seed. 49 years old. 54″ tall, 48″ wide. Bald Cypress (Taxodium Distichum) – 57″ Tall

Fukien Tea (Carmona) – Forest

Native to the Fujan Province of China, the Carmona has small white flowers that can bloom at any time. The evergreen foliage is dark in color and small in size. Loves the heat and does great indoors. 11 tree group each 11- 42 years old. 45″ tall. Potted on a slab 71″x45″ as shown.

Willow Leaf Ficus (Ficus Nerifolia/Salicafolia) – Forest

Also known as Mexicana Ficus. Elongated, light green leaves have a striking resemblance to the popular Weeping Willow tree. This tree does particularly well indoors. 11 tree group each 18″ – 32″ tall, 10-26 years old. Potted on a slab 52″x24″.
